There's something deeply rewarding about handing the keys to a first-time homebuyer, especially when that family is starting a brand new chapter in a brand new city. This recent closing was exactly that kind of moment, and I'm still smiling about it.

My clients, a wonderful Navy family, were PCSing from Chicago to Norfolk and needed to find a home before ever setting foot in Virginia. For any buyer, purchasing a first home is a big step. The spacious kitchen, outfitted with stainless and black appliances, flows beautifully out to a freshly stained wooden deck, all sitting on a generously sized lot with room to grow.

We handled everything virtually. The showings, the offer, the home inspection, the final walkthrough. Every step. And when they finally arrived in Norfolk and walked through the front door for the first time in person, the house was exactly what they had hoped for. Maybe even better.
